Maplebrook School recognizes that many families must plan carefully to meet a full year’s expense of education for their student. We want the quality learning differences education offered by Maplebrook to be accessible to students from a variety of cultural, geographic, and economic backgrounds, and we are committed to working with families to make affording Maplebrook a realistic possibility.
Financial aid is available for Maplebrook students, based on both a family’s demonstrated need and the availability of funds. Maplebrook uses the School and Student Services (SSS) of the National Association of Independent Schools to process our financial aid applications. Please see www.sss.nais.org for more information or to apply for aid.
Applying for Financial Aid
You should apply for financial aid as soon as your student is accepted for enrollment.
Maplebrook School uses the School and Student Services (SSS) available through NAIS to assess our applications for financial aid. Though there is no fee to apply to Maplebrook, SSS does have a user fee.
In addition to applying through SSS, please submit a letter to the Maplebrook School Financial Aid Committee identifying personal reasons or special circumstances that you believe qualify you to receive an award. This letter of request should be accompanied by your most recent tax return. (Note: Do not send tax returns to SSS.)
The financial aid application deadline is March 1st prior to the school year for which aid is being requested. Since financial aid decisions are made on an annual basis, families must reapply for aid each year. Please note that our scholarship funds are limited, and it is best to apply for financial aid as soon as possible.
