The Maplebrook School Foundation

(Formerly The Samara Foundation)

The Maplebrook School Foundation was established 20 years ago by Seima and Arnold Sollar to support the fundraising efforts of Maplebrook School. Ten years ago, the Foundation, a separate and independent 501C(3), was restructured and the following were elected to the Board:

The Foundation administers the Jane Fernandez Scholarship Fund which is given to day students enrolled at Maplebrook School. In 2009-10 one student recieved scholarships from this fund totaling $5,000. The Foundation administers a scholarship program that awards $2,000 to any family not receiving financial assistance from any other source. Last year $26,000 was awarded to 13 families.
