Please note: to qualify for the Maplebrook Future Risers Referral Program, referrals must be submitted before the prospective family contacts Maplebrook, schedules a tour, or begins the admissions process.
We welcome referrals from current Maplebrook families who know students who may benefit from our academic-year program. This form helps us document the referral, connect with the prospective family, and ensure that eligible referrals are properly tracked.
Eligible referring families may qualify for tuition discounts when a referred student enrolls and remains at Maplebrook, subject to the terms of the Maplebrook Future Risers Referral Program.
We appreciate your support in helping mission-appropriate students find their place at Maplebrook. A member of our Admissions team will review the information submitted and follow up as appropriate.
Maplebrook Future Risers Referral Program Terms & Conditions
At Maplebrook, some of our best families come to us through the trust and encouragement of current families. The Maplebrook Future Risers Referral Program is our way of thanking you for helping us grow our community with students who are a strong fit for our mission.
Program Eligibility
A referring family may qualify for referral discounts if all of the following conditions are met:
- The referring parent or legal guardian has a student currently enrolled at Maplebrook.
- The referred student is not a sibling or immediate family member of the referring family.
- The referred student is not already in active contact with Maplebrook’s Admissions Office at the time the referral is submitted.
- The referred student is admitted, enrolls, and begins attendance in Maplebrook’s academic-year program.
- Both the referring family’s account and the referred family’s account remain current and in good standing.
- The referring family’s student remains enrolled at Maplebrook at the time any referral discount is earned and applied.
Referral Discount Structure
For a referred student’s first academic year, the referring family may receive up to a $2,500 tuition discount, applied as follows:
First Year
Applied as a reduction to the referring family’s tuition balance after the referred student executes an enrollment agreement, pays the required deposit, begins attendance, and satisfies any applicable Evaluation Period.
Year-End
Applied after the referred student successfully completes the full academic year at Maplebrook. This $1,500 discount will be applied as a reduction to the referring family’s tuition obligation for the following academic year.
SUBSEQUENT YEAR
For each additional consecutive academic year in which the referred student re-enrolls at Maplebrook, pays the required deposit, and begins attendance for that academic year, the referring family may receive a $1,000 tuition discount applied at the start of that school year, provided all program conditions continue to be met.
Conditions for Earning Discounts
All referral discounts are contingent upon the following:
- The referred student remains enrolled and in good standing.
- The referred family’s account remains current and in good standing.
- The referring family’s student remains enrolled at Maplebrook.
- The referring family’s account remains current and in good standing.
If any of these conditions are not met, Maplebrook may withhold or revoke any unapplied referral discount.
Timing, Application of Discounts, and Exclusions
- No Cash Value
Referral discounts operate solely as a prospective reduction in tuition owed. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for cash, refunded, or assigned to another family. - Graduating or Departing Students
If the referring student graduates or otherwise leaves Maplebrook before a referral discount is applied, any unapplied discount is forfeited, except that Maplebrook reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to apply any earned discount toward an outstanding balance owed by the referring family at the time of departure. - Paid-in-Full Accounts
If the referring family has already paid tuition in full for the current academic year when a discount is earned, the discount may be applied to Ancillary Charges or to the following academic year, as determined by the Business Office, but will not be issued as a cash refund. - Exclusion of Summer Program
This program applies only to enrollment in Maplebrook’s regular academic-year program. Enrollment in the Summer Program alone does not qualify for, trigger, or extend any referral discount.
Referral Submission Requirement
To qualify, the referring family must submit the referral to Maplebrook before the prospective family:
- contacts the School directly,
- schedules a tour,
- submits an application, or
- otherwise enters the admissions process.
Retroactive referrals will not be honored.
Tax Implications
The referring family is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with a referral discount. Maplebrook reserves the right to request any documentation reasonably necessary for tax reporting purposes and to issue any tax forms required by law.
School Discretion
Maplebrook reserves the right to determine:
- whether a student meets the School’s admissions criteria,
- whether a referral qualifies under this program,
- whether both families are current and in good standing, and
- when and how referral discounts are applied.
Maplebrook reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this program at any time. Any referral discount already fully earned under the terms in effect at the time of referral will be honored.
