Activities in the Merck Interfaith Chapel are abundant throughout the school year. Our chapel provides those within the Maplebrook community of many faiths and traditions a place to meet, meditate and worship, contributing to the rich diversity that is the Maplebrook experience. The Merck Interfaith Chapel is a place for people to worship in their particular faith and a place where people of different faiths, or no religious tradition at all, can share in dialogue and interfaith education.
Pastor Witt represents Maplebrook in welcoming those who strongly identify with their religious tradition, those who are “spiritual but not religious,” and those who want no affiliation at all. The chapel is a place where Maplebrook community members can connect, join together in service, learn about the faith of others, deepen their own faith, explore their own values and identity and celebrate holidays and special events together as one. |
