Executive functioning is imperative to every person’s success. The Institute for Collegiate and Career Studies has developed a comprehensive program to help students improve such all-important skills of attention, emotional regulation, inhibitory control, initiation, organization, planning, self-monitoring and working memory.
Throughout the year, students’ executive functioning is measured through pre-testing, mid-year and post-testing. They engage in specific executive functioning training in the classroom and the boarding school environment allows for round the clock teaching, monitoring and reinforcing executive functioning.
