Message from the Head of School
September 2017

Welcome to Maplebrook School. Our number one responsibility is facilitating student success. We do this by helping students overcome learning challenges and refine their talents through an abundance of social and leadership activities.

Our Boarding School Community is friendly and caring, with staff and students enjoying positive relations based on mutual respect.

A sense of belonging is important in helping our students become confident, well-rounded individuals who have the ability to make the very best of the opportunities that life offers. Faculty and staff serve many roles in a boarding school. We are teachers, coaches, mentors, and role models, and each of us foster positive relationships with students.

I have been at Maplebrook School since 1984, and I can honestly say this is not just a job—it is a way of life!

I invite you to visit and feel the energy and support that permeates our community.

Donna Konkolics

Head of School

The mission of Maplebrook School is to provide quality academic programs for youngsters with learning differences, or who may exhibit a learning disorder…the student will be assisted in reaching his or her academic, social, vocational, and physical potential…to assume a more independent role in society.
